To Fit yourself:

To attach the awning to the wall: simply drill 8 or 12 holes (depending on the width of the awning), then bolt on the brackets using bolts supplied.

It's a one-person job, apart from when you lift the awning on to the wall, when you'll need someone's help to lift the other end of the awning.

Electric awnings - additional info
No need for an electrician. The easiest solution is simply to attach to an outside plug, or wire though to inside your house, attach a plug and plug in to a pre-existing socket.
